Amy and I were good friends before living together. She was caring and had my back when I was going through a tough situation. As a roommate however, she's a very different story. Soon after we began living together, she came home very drunk and vomited on our carpet, and didn't clean up the mess for nearly 3 days. I had to bring her cleaning supplies and put an angry post-it note on the wall expressing my disgust before the mess was gone. I later began to notice items of my clothing missing. I did a search of her room one day and found several shirts, as well as a pair of my underwear, which had been worn (ew!). I also have found her using my makeup and toiletries when I've come home. I frequently find my food items going missing, and have seen her take my things often. I have never once seen her cleaning or doing dishes, and she has never contributed to supplying paper towels or toilet paper for the house (I primarily do this). Recently, Amy has decided that the pull-out sofa bed is a perfect place for her and her boy-toy to crash after nights of partying, although her room is right next to the living room and she has a large futon to sleep on. I'll wake up during the day and walk into the living room to discover her canoodling on the sofa bed with her boy-toy, watching tv (which belongs to me) and obstructing the path to the kitchen. It's incredibly inconvenient and inconsiderate and I've been on the brink of throwing a bitch fit for quite a few weeks now. I had to put a lock on my door to stop the thievery of my clothes. We have to leave our house unlocked because she never bothered to have a house key made and depends on my other roommate and myself for access to the house. To top it all off, she owes me nearly $600 for bills and rent money, which I have had to pay because Amy prefers to spend her money on drugs, namely cocaine. I'm absolutely sick of Amy's complete negligence and carelessness and would gladly enact revenge at my first opportunity. Not once has she mentioned paying me back, so I'm forced to nag her about it, which thus far has been unsuccessful. If I had known that I was planning to live with an irresponsible kleptomaniac crackwhore, I definitely would have looked for a different roommate!
